Poor Lawrence: Mayor wants to sue
Lawrence, Mass., Mayor Daniel Rivera is furious at U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions for pointing out that his city is the epicenter for drug trafficking in the Northeast. We would hope Rivera would be more upset at the drug trafficking itself than with someone pointing it out.

Stand up to internet sales taxes
To the Editor: I was dismayed when I saw the ruling by the Supreme Court allowing collection of taxes on internet sales. I very much enjoy living in a state with few taxes on my purchases and earnings, and additionally think it is a too-heavy burden on small businesses who are able to expand their customer base via the internet.

To the Editor: A typical bank robber does not go out and rob a bank every day. Many of them live a normal life on their 'off' days.
